Also known as Mex Sav, from his musical ventures, born in the 831 (Watsonville/Santa Cruz area). Being surrounded by Mexican/American/Chicano music and culture, raised him to become the person he is today. He began his musical venture in high school, having ambitions to be a rapper/songwriter. He continued to writing, using premade instrumentals scattered in the internet along with fellow classmates. One day, he realized a few things about the music industry, it can be very competitive, secretive, or no one will support you in your venture. So he decided to take fate into his own hands by taking the mantel as rapper, songwriter, and producer. As a Folklorico dancer, he was able to tap into those skills to subconsciously be able to recognize Rhythm, Harmony, and song structure. Using his family's old desktop, he downloaded Fruity Loops (FL Studios) and started experimenting on creating music. Since his school did not offer any music education, he had to study and digest any information he can collect from Youtube, books, or other musically incline friends. An opportunity landed on his lap after graduating high school, his Cabrillo College counselor suggested to take a Studio Recording class. He agreed, and was enlightened by another aspect of music production, the recording and mixing aspect. Using his skills from his college education, collaborated with local artists both along and behind the scenes. He collaborated with his fellow Folklorico dancer, Gabe Robledo Johns, to establish "Bad in a Good Way" and mix/master his released albums. He would unite with local hip-hop collective "Soulequity" to produce and/or mix/master their tracks. As he enveloped his life to study the studio life and eventually graduating from CSUMB with a Bachelors in Music/Recording Technology. Now he is building up his company by freelancing Mixing/Mastering projects, recording and composing for local film projects, producing and filming Youtube videos, and building his clothing brand.
